I want your opinion.

What do you think the following verse (esp. the last part) means?

"That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been; and God seeks what has been driven away." Ecclesiastes 3:15

Um, I am not very good at this type of thing, but here it goes.

I think the first part sounds like it is saying that God knows "what is to be". Like, he knows the future and he knows every event that hasn't happened yet.

The second part I would think is implying that God is seeking the lost, the outcasts, the weary, the brokenhearted, and the weak.

I don't know though, it could be interpreted different ways I guess....

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing and was going to say it when, Taylor (who claims he's not good at this stuff) says exactly what I was thinking.

It sounds like, to me, that the first part is saying that, that which is going to happen already has happened and that which is to happen has already happened. (as in, God has predestined everything from the beginning.)

And the second part is God seeking the nonbelievers...
Which is basically what IT already said, but, whatever. :P

I love these posts that you do that make us THINK. :) They're really great!!
