I'm finally going to take my permit test next week {a year and a half after I legally could have!}. Considering I fall asleep reading the drivers handbook...hopefully I'll pass.

Yeah you will have no problem, it is the easiest thing in the world if you read the book a little bit and you have some common sense (which you do) :).
