this is the song that gets on everybody's nerves, and this is how it goes.

Well, my dad and I braved the RAINY 45-minute drive down to VCC the day before yesterday. We did some paperwork and then I went in to take the CPT (Computerized Placement Test). The English sections were a breeeeeeeze. The math part..eh..not so much (partially b/c I wasn't familiar with some of the concepts). After finishing, I went down to the dual-enrollment office to find out how I did. The lady said that my English scores were wonderful (figures, my mom is a writer), but I didn't do so hot on the math. [Considering I'm not taking math at VCC anyway, it didn't matter if I scored high enough to go into College Algebra...so hhh, whatever. ;)]

Anyway, VCC is now processing my application and I should be able to register for my classes next week. I'm planning on taking photography and either Comp 1 or Spanish in the fall.

cheers, J

p.s. Taylor, I'll eventually get to writing about the last Deluge.. :)

Hey, I hear ya on the college algebra part. I got into it by one point and no joke it was pure luck. I was just taking my best guess at all the problems basically lol.

No rush on the Deluge thing :).
