Ash's Grad Weekend

After helping out at the Mom's Meeting on Thursday, Rach, Ash, and I made a little stop in Party City (which has awesome glasses, by the way).
The three of us then went on to Ash's house. After lunch, we started putting together her graduation board, which we had done lickety-split. We hung out for a few hours before Rach and I left so that Ash could go to her grad meeting.

Friday was her graduation! ...and jiminy crickets...it was pouring outside! Nonetheless, it was a very classy ceremony. The church was beautiful. Sinclair Ferguson (!) gave a commencement address based on Psalm 23, which was awesome. (His Scottish accent...wow...I love it.)
And then the next day (today) was Ash's open house. (Because you see, the fun never ends.) Rachel, Lydia, and stopped by for an hour or so. Let me tell ya...her aunt makes amazing croissants. When I sat on the chair in their piano room, it collapsed underneath of me. This is unrelated to the previous sentence, really. Apparantly, Ash forgot to inform me about the broken leg. ;)It has been a busy weekend...a good one, though. :)

Hope you have a wonderful time on your senior trip this week, Ash!

cheers, j

I'm glad you could come to everything this weekend! It's been amazing seeing you every day since Thursday.. and if that monday/tuesday sleepover happens our joanna-ashley-rachel party get together will last that much longer :) love you!

ps. sorry I didn't tell you about the chair, I completely forgot. It really only collapses 1 in every 10 sits on it so it's been a while. But, the look on your face was priceless when you fell :) haha
