Last Monday (12.01) we had our first annual highschool gingerbread contest. (say that five times fast.) The class periods were cut short so we could have more than 1.5hrs for the contest. Everyone met in the lunchroom and each team had a table to dump all of their supplies on and make whatever style of house they wanted. I was on a team with Libby, Johanna, and Patrick. (We based our house off of a sketch Johanna made.) It was an absolute blast. The houses were judged by the church office ladies. It was announced today during lunch period: my team's house got 1st place. we were very excited. :)
