Fall festival

Hey hey!! My family had a blast at the fall festival last week. It had plenty of games, contests (Ben won three), and - of course - lots of candy. When I think of how many grams of sugar were distributed at the festival and all around America that night, I think of how dentists probably adore October 31st for all the business it brings them a few weeks later. Anyway, I'm not complaining. I rather like Skittles.

I dressed as a gypsy (threw that outfit together last minute). Lydia, a tooth fairy. Andrew, a lumberjack. Micah, Spiderman. Naomi, Snow White. Ben, I really don't know. (Maybe an Indian or the Tin Man from Oz??) Melody was a princess..typical.

Once we got to the church which was hosting the festival, I met up with Erika, Heather and Cherish. (Alex is in the background.)

They were not dressed up. how lame! Lydia and I flounced up to them and chanted, "Losers losers! Double losers. As if! Whatever! Get the picture duh!" We had a great time nonetheless. ;) All of us went into the bounce house together. (I'm surprised we fit inside.) We slipped and fell all over the place on top of eachother since it was wet with rainwater. That made it all the more fun. (Didn't get any pics.) Lydia and I went in the root beer chug-a-lug contest. Neither of us won.Cherish won a huge rectangular RiceKrispies in the cakewalk. It looked stellar.

Heather won some fashionable foam glasses. Doesn't she look rad? I think so.

Oh, and there was a big inflatable fighting platform thing where two people get in and try to knock eachother off their stands with big, spongy batons. Us girls did that for a little while near the evening's end. Woah woah, THAT was funny..you'd have to have been there.
After we arrived home, I played Spit with Lydia. (We hadn't done that in a while..)
Overall, it was a swell night. =] haha, I like the word swell. It makes me feel British or something.
