2008 Election

I wrote a post last night as the ballot-counting was in full swing, but took it off my blog this morning since I was probably not being very gracious towards Obama in my speech. I certainly don't agree with him or his policies at all, but whether I like it or not, he was elected President and I shouldn't bash him. I'll just say this...our country needs a LOT of prayer...

If I was a nail biter (I'm not) then last night my nails would have been down to the quick.

Well.... he’s president, or will be soon. I wasn't very happy either but he won and that's all there is to it. Although I'm really disappointed about him becoming president I was also very thankful that the marriage amendment passed! The Lord was very gracious to us on that matter. Well one comforting thought is that God is in control and even though we don't like the outcome there's a reason for everything and maybe this is a test for Christians of the U.S. to trust Him without question. Pray… pray lots. That’s how we can help.
