The Nikon d40 camera kit is on its way! I ordered it off of Ebay today, and it should get here within the next week. I saved up for it over the summer. The Nikon d60 would have been ideal, but I didn't want to shell out another $100 (at least). But I'll be happy with what I get!
I think for the next several days I'll camp outside waiting for the UPS truck to bring me my lovely package! ;) haha. And I'll even yell "WHAT CAN BROWN DO FOR YOU?!?" (a lot for me!!) as the truck pulls away. Yay! I'll take lots of pictures, which I'll put up here.
In response to comments: Thanks y'all! I've been watching for the best price for a couple months. I saw a fairly good price on Ebay, and decided to go ahead and get it. I'm super excited about the broader range of what I'll be able to do with taking pictures!! :)
