yesterday = Cypress Gardens again!
Lyd and I rode down there with Cherish's family and met up with several other families around 10am. We hit almost all the rides ... most of them we gave nicknames to. i.e. Galaxy Spin was the Sunscreen Ride. Lyd - I don't know why - decides in the middle of the ride that it's time to apply sunscreen. Right when she opened it, the ride started jerking around and spinning, and she squeezed it all over the place. mm yeah, smart one. ;) love ya, Lyd!
That was also the ride when Erika, Cherish, Lyd and I constantly sang You Are My Sunshine really loud together as we spun around. (it was quite humorous and sounded awful, I'm sure.) We went on bumper cars a lot ... (not my forte, had to have Jordan teach me how to drive),
Starliner (almost gave us whiplash, but still amazing), the drop tower four times in a row (can we say queasy?), the ferris wheel (ah! so calm!), the smelly water tube ride with the creepy leprechaun looking operator, Pharaoh's Fury (whoo mama! that was scary), etc. And I accidentally walked into the mens bathroom. wow. Good thing no one was in there. I ran out faster than the speed of lightning and into the correct bathroom. One of the employees outside was looking at me all strange, and later on when he was operating a ride, he asked if I went there in purpose. me: "uhm NO."
I like to think how many calories we burned walking around. Well . . . we did have fries and Philly-cheese-steak sandwiches for lunch though . . . ha. Maybe not so many calories burned.
anyway, we had a great time!! ey Cherish? We left around 6:30pm to head to the church building for volleyball that night (and stopped by 7-11 on the way to get Slurpees!). The ride back was full of listening to Sugarland, Whitney Houston, Queen, and more. Us girls in the backrow rocked out. OH yeah!! (I think we were on a brain-freeze-Slurpee-high.) Lyd and I left for home soon after we got to the church, since it'd been a long day. but a wonderful day.

So, you had to be taught to drive the bumper cars, you walked into the mens bathroom, and got some fuuny pictures....sounds like you made some good memories and had tons of fun!!! Although the thing about the mens bathroom....not so fun!! :p Wish I could have been there!! Post pictures soon!!!!!!!
Okay gal, I'll try. :) I'll ask Sterling next time I see him if he can get me the pics somehow.
