Cherish and I were so excited to see the Smith gals!! We'd missed them so much since they moved a year ago. It was so amazing being with them again!
So what did we do on our visit up to the Niceville/Crestview area? we...
- ran in the sprinklers (the night we got there)
- went to church
- had photoshoots
- shopped in Destin Commons (we ran in the fountain there!)
- went to Walmart (like 4 times!)
- had lots of hotdogs, sandwiches, and Country Time lemonade.
- made calzones using Mrs. Sutter's amazing recipe
- had fondue and sung Wii Karaoke at the Lenfesteys on Father's Day
- slid down the steep hill in the Lenfestey's backyard in a big tray. We slid down SO many times. Once we crammed 7 of us in it, but then I fell out.
- babysat three adorable little boys for two days
- went to their homegroup on Wednesday
- took lots of CRAZY pictures
- had lunch at What-a-burger [Ms. Lynette: "O-My-G! Honey mustard what-a-chicken!" ha.]
- had Monnie and Lauren (two of their friends from church ) over for a sleepover. fun ~
- watched movies (Enchanted, Hairspray, HSM 2, etc.)
- jumped on their mattresses
- swung on their hammock
- shopped in historic Crestview...mainly looking though. :)
- went to Starbucks a couple times (Chrissie was going to sing her order, but forgot...)
- sang in the car [i.e. Brown Eyed Girl which Cass and Cherish changed to Blue Eyed Boy!]
- went to the beach!
We laughed a lot, talked a lot, and have all these great memories together. Good times, good times. Cherish and I are still laughing over A.B.G and Y.S.A.B. ;) Seriously, we felt completely at home there.
Smith gals and Lenfesteys ... Your humility and love and care for those around you is such a testimony to the power of the Gospel. Annnd, y'all are so stinkin' funny! I had a blast being with you for a whole week! I am SO grateful for your friendships.
I miss you all. You hear that guys, I MISS YOU!!
I want to come back and visit you again!
Chrissie and Cassie...I think I'm gonna call you soon.
